5.30pm in the small hall.
For many people, the approaching Christmas holiday does not bring with it the joy and happiness that is advertised on television, radio, internet, in shopping centres and in the cards and advertising that arrives in our homes.
You may be facing this holiday after the death of a loved one or after a divorce. Perhaps you have been unable to have a child, or have suffered through illness or an emotional trauma. Perhaps you feel pressured and overwhelmed by holiday preparations.
To make space for those who feel such burdens, we are running a Blue Christmas servicethis year. This service will have a more quiet, sombre feel than a traditional Christmas worship service. Scripture, music and meditations will focus on the gift of love and comfort that God offers in the message of Christmas. during dark times.
When: Thursday 7 December 5.30pm.
Where: Small Hall, Cleveland Uniting Church.
Please think about people who may find this service appealing and invite them. If you want to know more or would like to be involved in leadership or preparation, please contact Moira on 0447 957 772 or firstname.lastname@example.org
