Day Camp 24-28 June 2024

Day Camp is 5 days of fun and excitement within a Christian Environment for children in Grades 1 – 6.  It is organised and run by the Redland City Uniting Church, who have been conducting Day Camp for 47 years! Day Camp is held at Karingal Scout Camp.

Day Camp is a program 8:30 am-4:15 pm where campers with their leaders discover more about nature, about themselves, about God and to learn new skills, have lots of fun, yet have the security of sleeping at home each night. Activities include bush and craft activities, adventure challenges and games. There will be daily Christian input and all leaders are trained, have working with children blue cards, and have the safety of the children as their priority.

Camper Registrations usually fill quickly so to avoid missing out please register asap – today, tomorrow . Also please pass on the registration link to others.

Cost

The cost for Campers is $175 per camper for 5 days.

There is a family discount for 2 or more children of $165.00 each.

Refund Policy. If in the unfortunate event you are unable to take part in Day Camp 2024 and give 10 days’ notice you will receive a full refund. If the Day Camp is closed (e.g. Due to covid) you will receive a full refund for the days that Day Camp is closed.

Getting to Camp.

Drop and pick up campers directly to and from Karingal Scout Camp 1 Karingal Road Mt Cotton. Campers can be dropped from 8:15 am to 8:45 am. Parents/Carers will need to sign campers in each day. Pick-up is from 4:15 pm-4:45 pm. Parents/Carers will need to sign campers out each day.

Leader Registration – please help with recruiting There is no registration cost for leaders and helpers.

For every leader over 18 that we get, we can accept 6 more campers, which means that 6 more children can learn a bit more about the unending love that God has for them.

Parents can also register as helpers. We appreciate any help that is given.

Please remember, if you register as a leader, your children are guaranteed a space in Day Camp (This works for grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and siblings).

Leader registration is free. For those planning on helping at some point during the Day Camp week, it would really help us if everyone could register as soon as possible.
