Day Camp 27 June - 1 July 2022
We had a fantastic Day Camp this year, look out for 2023 Day Camp!

We had a great Day camp this year with fantastic leaders and helpers with wonderful teams of campers, exploring the bush, doing activities and craft, cooking, archery and other adventure activities - just so muc fun. Read about what Day Camp is and look out for the next camp in 2023!

Day Camp is a full week of fun and excitement within a Christian Environment for children in Grades 1 – 7.  It is organised and run by the Redland Uniting Churches, who have been doing Day Camp for 45 years!  The Day Camp program offers a chance for campers to discover more about nature, about themselves, about God and to learn new skills and yet have the security of sleeping at home each night.

Day Camp offers leadership development opportunties for grade 9 to 12 high school students and for grades 7-8  through Leaders in Training (LiT). Adults can be leaders too. Working with children Blue Card, references, and attending all leadership training is a requirement for all leaders.

Kids Space & Sunday School

Kids Space operates during the 10am service on Sunday Mornings. It is a supervised space within the church, where children can go to do activities, allowing children to be within view of parents, able to listen to the service, and those supervising can also be part of the service.

The 10 am service is family-friendly. Everyone is together at the start of worship. There is a children's focus time of story and message and then children will be invited to go to the Kids Space where they will do a related activity.

Once a month children will go out to Sunday School in the Small Hall beside the Church. During this time, they sing songs, listen to a story and do various activities, often including a craft and games.

For more information about Sunday School, please fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page or contact the church office at admin@clevelanduc.com.

Please Note:
Kids Space is open every Sunday. Families attending the 10 am Service do not need to check in beforehand, but all the COVID requirements for churches must be met - masks and social distancing.
